John Kirlangitis, PT, DPT, MBA, OCS

John Kirlangitis founded Mainstream Physical Therapy in 2004. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chatham University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from Clarion University. He was awarded the professional designation of board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties of the American Physical Therapy Association.

 

John was raised in the Ohio Valley graduating from Steubenville High School.  He has been a resident of Weirton since 1993. His roots are strong in the heritage of this community coming from a family with more than 80 years of mill work experience within Weirton Steel and 10 years of his own. He is very involved in the Weirton community. He is a member of the Weirton Madonna High School medical staff and also provides on-field medical services for Weir High School athletic events. He has been the Director of the United Way Golf Tournament since 2012 and served as a Board of Director for the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce for 12 years. John has been coaching in the Weirton Termite Basketball league for over 20 years as well the baseball, flag football and soccer. 

 

John lives on Marland Heights with his children, Isabella, Johnny, Amalia, and Illionna.
